Oh, Charlotte’s high-end call girl ring may yet trip up the local elites. Madam Sallie Saxon is talking, but I still doubt this results in charges against her customers.
My guess would be prosecutors are ginning up the prospect of charging johns — talking about in a newspaper, no less — in order to win their full cooperation in tracking down other call girl rings. Afterall, we are talking about a national, even international footprint for elements of Saxon’s operation. Did these men know about or use other, similar services?
Where I think you could see actual charges in if there are scads and scads of evidence that a particular customer used business or corporate funds to pay for his fun. That is a straight up matter of fraud and as such very difficult for law enforcement to ignore — or it should be.
Meanwhile, keep living clean “Britt” and “Skipper” — there’s karma points in there somewhere.
