N.C. DOT project manager Aldie Whitmore Jr. says that the stretch of I -485 currently under construction from Oakdale Road to I-77 and beyond to Statesville Road won’t meet it’s targeted December 31 completion date:
“I don’t see how it will be done in time,” Whitmore said. “My best guess is that it will be next spring.”
Always nice to the see the state confirm something that we’ve suspected for some time now.
