Kathryn Jean Lopez of The Corner points to Slate’s list of the 20 whitest and blackest girl names. I notice there are four variations of Caitlin in the top 20 white names, which explains why I keep running into people who have daughters with some form of that name.  Fifteen years ago I bet it would have been Kirsten or Kristen.
