In a letter issued today, Joel Ario, head of the Health Insurance Exchange office within the US DHHS, admitted what I said weeks ago about the possibility of employers under ERISA dumping their employees into health insurance exchanges. The letter was issued after similar comments by Joel Ario were released.
This morning the topic was also covered by The Hill’s Health Watch blog section, addressing the possibility that this could be harmful to taxpayers and drastically alter the scope of insurance exchange risk pools.
