I’m going to provide a hyperlink to another syndicated article in the Hendersonville Times-News to thank that publication for providing unlimited access to their online services for the duration of the inclement weather.
This one discusses the rather worn-out topic of voter reform in North Carolina. The news is the changes, attempts to outlaw same-day voter registration and to void the votes of persons going to the wrong precinct, are now stayed by a US Supreme Court. Defendants in the suit are described as “Republicans,” whereas activists litigating for repeal are referred to as spokespersons for blacks and minorities. I suppose we could lengthen the name of the political party benefited by the actions, but that would only reinforce the politically-concocted concept that blacks and minorities need navigators because they’re too stupid to find their way to the right precinct.
