At the risk of making light of the situation, I have to note how ironic is it that one week after Guilford County Sheriff B.J. Barnes defends the use of Tasers in response to ICE rules prohibiting their use on illegals, an inmate dies in the county jail after —-you guessed it —- being Tasered.
Guilford County might not be signing on for 287 (g) after all.
Bonus observation: I wonder if the feds will have this incident in mind when they meet with Alamance County Sheriff Terry Johnson next week.
