At National Review Online, Jonah Goldberg calls attention to “new research to be presented at the 106th Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association” about Tea Partiers by UNC-Chapel Hill sociology professor Andrew J. Perrin. From the press release, we learn that Perrin’s crack research team discovered that respondents with warm and fuzzy feelings about the Tea Party movement share authoritarian and libertarian tendencies.
You figure that one out, folks. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how former Tar Heel footballer Austin could get a B+in a grad-level African Studies course and yet fail Introductory Geology, aka “Rocks for Jocks.”
