A U.S. spy satellite has lost power and will crash to Earth in February or March. People are worried about where it will hit, but not me. I’ve been through this before.

In 1979, when Skylab did the same thing, I held a party in my backyard in Montgomery, Ala., to celebrate the re-entry of the 78-ton space station. Everybody wore hard hats. Fortunately, Skylab did not crash in my backyard. It hit a remote area of Australia, so we just continued drinking beer and cooking steaks.
