Don’t forget that Union County is voting on a land-use tax hike and Catawba County is voting on a quarter-cent sales tax hike tomorrow.
In both cases, local officials claim to be short on cash — a manifest lie. They simply refuse to spend the money they have on high-priority items and wonder where the money goes.
