Drones could outnumber commercial airplanes flying overhead by a ratio of 6-to-1 within the next five years, and that’s leading to increased scrutiny of the regulation and safety measures surrounding drones, otherwise known as unmanned aerial vehicles.

Tyler Collins, director of business development for PrecisionHawk, discussed the growing commercial use of drones during a presentation for the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society. In the video clip below, he detailed the projected growth in drone use.
