Hey, I’m stunned that the Patriots got lit up by the Richmond Raiders. Makes me wonder if Indy’s decision not to play the game down at Memorial Stadium sent a signal to the kids that Richmond was not going to be a “big” game. At the same time the Patriot admin all but called out the Richmond side by saying that the game need not be played at the larger venue because the Raider faithful had dwindled in recent years.
That all might be true, but in the hyper-emotional world of HS football even little slights or signals can make a big difference.
