Chad notes that Drew used to work at the Sanford Herald but then innocently impugns Drew’s proud Western NC roots by suggesting that he was born in Lee County. No, Drew is a Catawba-County native. There are lots of Clines, and Klines, and Kleins, and so on, lots of German-American surnames in the foothills.
So he’s not from Lee ? not that there’s anything wrong with that (said Seinfeld-y. . .)
