Nine
Burns High Schools have had to change their course schedules after
being told a college algebra/trigonometry course would not count
towards their high school degree.
The students had been told that
the course, taught by faculty at Cleveland Community College,
would count towards both high school and college credit. However, the
contract signed with the county said that the course could not count
for both. School officials are now asking for an interpretation from
the Department of Public Instruction.

My question is why weren’t the students given the accurate story about the credits to begin with?  Is it that hard to read a contract to determine how the credits could be applied?
