Orange County commissioners are so concerned that drive-thru windows are killing the planet, they’re considering regulating them, or even banning them altogether.
Hey, if they’re so bad, why not follow in the footsteps of the socially concerned Los Angeles City Council and be done with the whole darn problem of fast food AND drive-thru windows?
I’m sure Orange commissioners could find an expert to tell them college students eat too much fast food and, therefore, we must protect them from themselves – and save the planet from those awful drive-thru windows at the same time – right?
How about a “fast-food-free” boundary around UNC? Around high schools too. And middle schools. And elementary schools. Hey, come to think of it, nobody needs fast food. Let’s make fast food illegal.
Yeesh. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
