OK, that was more to get your attention than anything else. But what explains NPR’s desire to keep Juan Williams from interviewing President Bush about race relations? NPR made some noises about the White House picking the interviewer, blah, blah, blah, but they seemed to really want someone other than Williams to do the interview. I guess a white or gay correspondent would have done the interview more justice?

Sometimes the petulance of liberal media types is unbelievable. Liberalism has gone full circle. Or maybe it’s because Williams is not a Stepin Fetchit for the Left. That’ll get you banned from all those Manhattan cocktail parties in a hurry.
