The Herald-Sun got its paws on a previously undisclosed police document concerning the Duke lacrosse case. It’s entitled “A timeline for the council.” Among the juiciest revelations: DPD investigator Himan interviewed the accuser more than his notes revealed and, even better, there were several meetings with higher-ups–including Bill Bell and Duke officials–at the start of the case.

It’s tough luck for Durham. They’ve just got two more days to respond to the civil lawsuit brought by the players, and the airing of dirty little secrets like this won’t help them any.
