Asheville is experiencing tremendous economic impact as former President Bill Clinton is expected to draw more for his appearance than Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally on The Mall in Washington, DC.
The local daily interviewed a stray Asheville resident who just happens to have the same name as somebody mentioned in yesterday’s post.
“I’m excited that President Clinton sees the value of the 11th Congressional District, and he wants to come help us turn out the vote, fire up the base and energize people,” said Jake Quinn, an Asheville resident who plans to attend the rally.
“Mr. Clinton is so amazing with people, and the forecast is so glorious, I think we’re going to have a wonderful time — smiles all over the place.”
