The Winston-Salem City Council approved its 2010-2011 budget with a three-quarter-cent property tax increase.
The budget includes the $11.4 million refunded by Dell that the city will spend on economic development. Just so you know, “(c)ity officials — from the mayor to the city manager to members of the council — warned that next year’s budget could be even more difficult than this year’s.” Great.
