Fox News’ Carl Cameron just said he’s gotten official confirmation from the McCain camp that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be McCain’s VP choice.
She’s 44, mother of five, is an avid hunter and fisherwoman, former sportscaster, and is pro-life. Plus, with two years as a governor she’s got more executive experience that McCain, Obama or Biden combined. She’s also a former beauty pageant winner and was starting point guard on her high school’s state championship basketball team (No. 22 in the photo). Now there’s a resume.
