Those are the words you see throughout the account of yet another strange GPD incident. An off-duty K-9 officer pursues a robbery suspect in a chase that results in a crash on an exit off Interstate 40. After the crash, the suspect gets out of the car and gets into an altercation with the officer and the officer shoots him —- dead.
Pretty much everything right now is unknown — the identity of the suspect, the indentity of the officer, the speeds at which the chase occurred, whether the crime was a shoplifting or a robbery.
I realize the Police Chief Tim Bellamy is still gathering information himself right now, and surely there will be more forthcoming. Still, Greensboro citizens are faced with more questions than answers involving their police force.
