For those who remember JLF friend and former WPTF talk-show host Jerry Agar, the Chicago Sun-Times has an item of interest:
Jerry Agar, midday host at Citadel Broadcasting news/talk WLS-AM (890), and his “Jerry’s Kidders” panel of comedians Tim Slagel, Ken Severa, Dobie Maxwell and Dale Irvin will be taking on Barack Obama.
Starting at 10 a.m. Monday, they’ll spend a full hour joking about the presidential hopeful. They’re calling it “Barack-No-Phobia: No Kidding Aside.”
“No presidential candidate is above the mocking criticism that has become a part of American culture and communication — going back to Mark Twain,” Agar said. “If the late-night TV comics won’t do it, we will.”
