Meckenburg needs $3.1 million to pay for prosecutors. This is a state responsibility. A fundamental, state responsibility. Not lottos, or teapot museums, or jobs for cronies. Yet all powerful Speaker Jim Black can muster is “support” for the effort.
Black should be out-front leading the charge to make sure the Down East kleptocrats, the on-going criminal conspiracy that passes for state government in North Carolina, actually fund this fundamental state responsibility.
Instead, Jim Black and his cronies worry about the damn state pest control board. That’s world class leadership, folks. Third World class.
