The North Carolina General Assembly’s return to Raleigh this week led to television and radio interviews for John Locke Foundation staffers. Director of Communications Mitch Kokai discussed legislative votes to override Gov. Pat McCrory’s first two vetoes during appearances on News 14 Carolina’s statewide “Capital Tonight” program, Talk Radio WPTF’s morning program with guest host Demetri Ravanos, and Curtis Wright’s morning program on WMYT Radio. Kokai also discussed the General Assembly’s focus on job creation for a story on WTVD Television.

Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray joins Talk Radio WPTF’s Bill LuMaye this afternoon to preview her upcoming statewide tour with Health and Human Services Policy Analyst Katherine Restrepo. Gray and Restrepo will travel from the mountains to the coast over the next two weeks to discuss the impact in North Carolina of Obamacare and state Medicaid reform.
