Television interviews and radio appearances across the state this week showcased JLF‘s statewide appeal. In Asheville, Michael Sanera talked with Matt Mittan about his piece on the city’s Civic Center, even going so far as to field questions and comments from Jan Davis, Chairman of the Civic Center Task Force. John Hood, on an interview with WBT-AM in Charlotte, put a NC perspective on the heated illegal immigration debate baking in Congress. John will also be appearing at High Point University with a number of panelists to discuss the current political climate. In an interview with Sarah Wiles of “Carolina Weekly,” which airs on Time Warner Cable Channel 24, Cable Channel 4 Chapel Hill, and Cable Channel 8 (The People’s Channel) in Orange County, George Leef lambasted speech codes on campus, paying special attention to speech zones on the campus of UNC-G.  And Chad Adams‘s voice will be heard on Wilmington’s 106.3 where he will be talking about Joe Coletti‘s recent Regional Brief (a targeted, Policy Report/Spotlight hybrid) on New Hanover’s inefficient incinerator, local tax burdens, and the convention center.
