It’s easy to disprove most myths.  Simply go to source, ask hard questions, gather pertinent data, and then draw your conclusion.  What’s hard is trying to convince the believer that the myth’s been busted. After a lot of hard work, Michael Sanera‘s research demonstrating the high cost of convention centers speaks for itself: convention center visitors are down and revenues are in the red. At least one believer in the convention center myth, the press, has begun to notice that gratuitous projections used to promote the facilities don’t conform to reality.  News 14’s  coverage is a prime example.  Chad Adams took this news to Wilmington where he spoke with WAAV’s Donn Ansell show about the city’s new diabolical taxing plan to fund the proposed convention center.
