After laying the groundwork for school construction reform in his recent Spotlight, Terry Stoops‘s opinion is a hot commodity.  Stoops talked with Tim Boyum from News14 Carolina, State Government Radio with Rick and Donna Martinez, the Bill LuMaye show (which Rick and Donna have been guest hosting since last week while LuMaye reports live from Iraq), the Monroe Enquirer-Journal and the Triangle Business Journal.  A rising issue, redistricting, which of late is causing a stir in High Point, caught the attention of Lindalyn Kakadelis. New redistricting proposals, drawn to account for racial diversity, may negatively impact academic performance.  Bertie County has the same concern.  While other parents fear that their children’s school could be closed because of poor performance due to Judge Manning’s recent call-out of failing schools. Lindalyn discussed this issue with Fox News Rising.  To round off the list, Stoops hit the airwaves with Jaime Bedrin of WFAE in Charlotte to discuss the education lottery, pointing out that if we’re going to have a state-run lottery, we better put the money in the right place
