The Winston-Salem Journal quoted Hood in an article about the prospect of using new federal tobacco tax revenue to expand preschool programs.

Triangle radio listeners heard Hood fill in for Bill LuMaye one week ago as guest host on Talk Radio WPTF. On the western end of the state, the Hendersonville Times-News reported on Hood’s speech to the Henderson County Republican Women’s Club. Hood assessed the highlights of the recently concluded state legislative session.

Speaking of legislators, N.C. Senate Republicans promoted in their daily press emails Hood’s columns on North Carolina’s latest unemployment numbers and the problems associated with subsidizing professional sports teams.
