Wanted: Inventor of Pressure Modulator Valve
The City of Asheville has a problem with non-revenue water. Prior to the Non-Revenue Water Management Project, the city was losing 30-35% of the water it treated. Like gauges of criminal activity, the problem is proportional to honesty and accuracy in reporting. (Please follow this link.) It is also due to the failure of anybody to invent a pressure modulator valve to ensure even flows in spite of changes in demand, temperature, and altitude.

Wanted: Plastic Bag Inventor

These milli-mil plastic bags with tear-away handles that come off the racks ten at a time are wasteful. We need somebody to invent a plastic bag that will be as sturdy and controllable as the old models. The cost of the bags is a key consideration; especially, since twelve non-functional bags are needed to do the work of one old-fashioned model.
