Jon Voight, who vaulted to stardom by playing male prostitute Joe Buck in “Midnight Cowboy,” has written a tour de force condemnation of Barack Obama and all the man stands for. For a Hollywood heavyweight, this is a major, major event. He ends his piece this way:
This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.
