Everyone can make up their own minds about pollster John Zogby’s analysis of the presidential race. A very hard to dismiss point Zogby makes, though, is that George W. Bush does not control the factors — Iraq, the economy, terror — that can re-elect him.

But I’m not at all certain Zogby is correct when he says Kerry has a habit of finishing his races well. More like Kerry has made fewer mistakes than the other guy down the stretch.
