With the March 15 primary election approaching, the John Locke Foundation welcomed about 60 candidates for legislative and Council of State races today to the first in a series of candidate education forums. The forum at the JLF office in downtown Raleigh started with a discussion of JLF’s emphasis on public policies that promote freedom.
In the afternoon, Reason Foundation education director Lisa Snell joined JLF to explain the basic principles of student-based budgeting.
