Winston-Salem Journal editorial reasons that City Council members should hold the proposed property tax increase to 1 cent so voters will be more inclined to vote themselves a 2.5-cent increase if the $175 million bond goers on the ballot in November.
I’m not saying the Journal’s logic is right or wrong, mind you. I’m just saying good luck getting taxpayers to follow along.
