The Winston-Salem Journal pooh-poohs offshore drilling, saying it “will have no effect on gas prices this year, next year or in the foreseeable future. That’s because there won’t be any offshore drilling for quite a while, and even when there is, it won’t have much of an impact.”
The logic, of course, is enough alternative power sources to support our infrastructure will come online quickly. I’m missing that logic.
