Here it is —- the Journal’s editorial on Edwards. They’re pretty hard on him:
What makes the Edwards affair so much more repugnant are the decisions he made, after the affair supposedly ended, to pursue the presidency for a second time, again putting himself forward as a wonderful family man. In that endeavor, he also lied when asked about possible misbehavior.
Democrats are shaking over the possibility that Edwards could have won their party’s nomination and then had this news bomb dropped on the country. They see how close they came to having a presidential nominee who would have incurred the wrath of the American people.
