Raise your hand if know the name of Sen. Elizabeth Dole’s challenger in the May 6 primary. Today’s Journal lead editorial didn’t even see fit to mention his name when endorsing Dole in the primary.

On the Democratic side, the Journal endorses Kay Hagan:

Hagan has good experience in the General Assembly, where she has been instrumental in forming the state budget and in crafting a pro-business agenda. Hagan is smart, tough and feisty and promises to run a spirited campaign for what many have long considered to be a seat Dole would have no trouble keeping.

The question is whether or the Journal will sign on as a Kay Captain for the general election. Somehow I think they will.
