Boy, oh boy, Jim Black’s cronies have set themselves up for quite a fall. Now it is Charlotte political operative Kevin Geddings who is set to go to the big house for a very, very long time.

Geddings is due to be sentenced for his October fraud conviction next month. U.S. District Judge James C. Dever III said in a court filing last week that he believes Geddings lied at least twice on the stand during his trial. Recall that Geddings insisted on going to trial on after being charged with mail fraud in connection with his appointment to the state lotto commission by then Speaker Jim Black.

Ah, yes, the old go to trial so you can lie on the stand gambit. Tells you just how second-nature lying is for the Black gang and how deeply stupid members truly must be.
