A federal judge has ruled that Medicaid recipients in Michigan who
say they can’t afford the $1 copay for generic drugs or the $3 copay
for brand name drugs must still receive their meds. Some of the 2,800
pharmacies that provide Medicaid prescriptions may stop as a result of
the ruling, the pharmacists’ association lawyer warned. The Detroit News has the whole story.
