The Duke lacrosse case’s notoriety has really jumped the shark. I was just watching a DVR’d version of the show MXC on the Spike cable network. That’s the wacky Japanese game show which features dubbed American voices replacing the samurai-warrior frocked hosts, Kenny Blankenship and Vic Romano. As Captain Tenneal, the game commissioner, met with his contestants, as he does before every show, he pointed to three guys in the crowd and said, “I see we’ve got some Duke lacrosse players here. What do you have to say?”
“Our daddies are rich,” was the response.
And speaking of Duke lacrosse, I’m headed over to Chapel Hill in about 20 minutes to watch the Devils play UNC. Go Duke!
