*Actually, it isn’t quite so simple. They sit around a table and dream of wooing unproductive cronies with magic tax dollars, the influx of which into their pot-o-gold, unbeknownst to them, is highly correlated with the rate of existing businesses going under or demanding their own piece of the magic stash.
