No real surprises, the standard banker-lawyer-developer-Chamber insider cadre with a smattering of academics. Did find it interesting that the publisher of La Noticia Hilda Gurdian put cash money behind Roberts, as did Humpy Wheeler. Interesting marketing possibilities there. Oh, and the BofA PAC dropped a fat $4K on Ms. Jennifer.
Anyway, consider it your civic duty to eyeball all 93 pages. It is the roadmap to how and why things happen in this county.
Bonus Observation: And speaking of the Chamber, the plea last week for help on the bond package is quite moving. Seems polling has turned up doubts about the parks and neighborhood improvement bonds. Utterly wacky that the “affordable housing” mish-mash has not produced similar feelings. If $250K in pro-bond spending can’t ram it home Chamber members should ask for a refund.
Bonus Bonus Observation: Was there anyone working for Orthocarolina who didn’t give money to Dan Murrey? Conservative Orthocarolina patients have to feel good about that.
