Keep ‘em Dumb

It could be argued that people don’t need libraries anymore – at least the wealthy – because they all have Internet. Working people don’t need libraries, because if they become too educated, they might learn how to run a business more effectively. It is important to make people think that only government knows how to do that. Therefore, it is a good idea to cut back library hours so only the unemployed can use them. Henderson County public libraries are cutting back hours.
