George Leef, vice president for research at the Pope Center for Higher Education, has been keeping an eye on labor unions and the right-to-work movement for some time now. His research culminated in his most-recent book, Free Choice for Workers: A History of the Right to Work Movement. With oral arguments already in the books for an historic right-to-work case, George set to task explaining the importance of the case. His opinion was published in the Spokesman Review (Spokane, Washington), the Star Telegram (Fort Worth/Dallas, Texas), and the Arizona Daily Star. Wondering why the west? Better read up.
