Brian Kilmeade of Fox & Friends, nominally the sports guy, just pinned Sen. Carl Levin to the wall in an interview about American troop levels in Iraq. Levin was clearly irked that he hadn’t had a soft interview of the kind Katie Couric of Matt Lauer would conducted. He said something to the effect of next time maybe Fox “will interview me instead of you.” Kilmeade responded, “I interviewed you Senator, I listened to you and I watched you read” (Levin had read a lengthy excerpt from remarks Gen. George Casey, the commander in Iraq, is reported to have made at a White House meeting).

I predict much outrage from the lefties on the media analysis shows about Fox’s right-wing agenda over this. And these are the same people who never bat an eye at the over-the-top abuse and obnoxiousness reporters dish out at daily White House press briefings.
