Klein: Lefties are right to dismiss deficit concerns

Joe Klein‘s latest TIME column focuses on the potential for a congressional budget deal this year. Klein offers us this gem:

There are those on the left who will object that the deficit issue is overblown and not even a priority among voters. They are right.

Right? Perhaps about the voters, but certainly not about the deficit. Government overspending is the key problem.
