As the N.C. Court of Appeals winds down work for the year, this morning’s last batch of 2007 rulings includes:
- a dispute over extraterritorial jurisdiction between Highlands and Macon County, and
- a ruling allowing Moore County’s Habitat for Humanity to proceed with a development in Pinebluff.
Although the appellate judges ruled in favor of Habitat for Humanity in that case, the judges chided the trial court for issuing its ruling on the stationery of the Habitat group’s attorney.
