Under the Dome reports today (scroll to last item) that CBS News on Friday night gave “some attention” to taxpayer funding for the Sparta (N.C.) Teapot Museum as an example of federal pork, benefiting from the efforts of two Republicans: Rep. Virginia Foxx and Sen. Richard Burr. The article implies that to this point the pork project has been exclusively a target of ridicule directed towards state Democratic legislators.

But readers of Carolina Journal know that Foxx’s and Burr’s earmarks for teapots were revealed two years ago.
