I was reading an article where allegedly some legal scholars argued that the case (at least of the 13 AGs) has little chance of passage because federal law trumps state law. Thanks for that brilliant info.
That’s not the issue. The question is whether Congress has exceeded its power. An unconstitutional federal law doesn’t trump a state law.
There’s a decent chance these cases could work–it will be tough, but shouldn’t be impossible if the judiciary focuses on the law instead of political pressures.
