North Carolina’s state budget will face “insurmountable” problems connected with the growing costs of long-term care, unless the state changes its policies. The John Locke Foundation delivered that warning this week with a new report prepared by Stephen Moses of the Center for Long-Term Care Reform. Moses discussed his findings with WPTF Radio’s morning show, with Matt Willoughby of the 90-station North Carolina News Network, and with Josh Ellis of State Government Radio. Charlotte’s WBT Television also picked up the story in at least two segments, calling one of its reports a “Health Alert.”
