Now that BCRA has the media quaking, wondering what somebody might interpret to be unmentionable, we have headlines such as, “What Was NC’s Jury-Trial Ballot Amendment About?” I must confess, I reserved my own analysis until after the election, as it is so one-sided to mention dangerous ideologies harbored by candidates. Somebody might lose their 501(c)(3) should they be aired in the public arena.
Regardless, the Mountain Xpress now tells us that it is good that the amendment passed. Judges could be more objective, whereas juries could be more impartial. Thass wo it say.
