UNC Greensboro will be receiving $3 million to conduct a study of the Learn and Earn/Early College schools. This comes after pouring millions of dollars into the program over the last three years, the recent Gates Foundation pledge of $10 million, and a Newsweek article that does nothing but praise the program.
I have pointed out that they are not working and that a pilot program, with an appropriate evaluation, would have been a much better policy.
